Projects
M2P carries out several externally funded research projects about political agenda-setting, political communication of political parties, new emotional movements and the role of the media, the election campaigns in Belgium, protest participation in several countries, the role of ICTs in political mobilization etc.
M2Ps research approach is empirical and quantitative. The group creates and assembles new datasets based on surveys of the public, journalists, politicians, movement members, protest participants etc. A second approach that is often drawn upon by M2P is quantitative content analysis.
In this section we provide full descriptions of our current as well as past research projects. More information can be obtained by contacting the team members responsible for each project in specific.
