Prof. Karolien De Wael

Karolien De Wael received her M. Sc.- and Ph. D.-degrees in chemistry at the University of Ghent in 2001 and 2005 respectively. Until April 2011, she was a FWO-postdoctoral fellow.

From April 2011, Karolien De Wael is in charge of the research group Environmental Analysis at the University of Antwerp, formerly led by em. Prof. R. Van Grieken. The electrochemistry-expertise of K. De Wael is introduced into the research group.

In 2001, she won the KVCV-prize, and two poster prizes in 2002 and 2004.
