in 2008 in Denver (USA) the Birks Award in X-Ray Spectrometry,
in 2009 in Budapest (Hungary) the CSI Award and in 2010
in Coimbra (Portugal) the 2010 Outstanding Career Award in X-ray Spectrometry
of the European
X-ray Spectrometry Association.
He is (co-)author of about
560 articles in international scientific journals (cited over 8000 times
according to Web of Sciences), about 210 contributions to conference
proceedings and book chapters, and 13 books. He has been an invited lecturer or
member of the organising committee of some 240 international scientific
conferences.
