A local
and rare species in Belgium, probably under recorded due to the small
size of it.
The
larva lives in the berries of Crataegus,
Prunus
spinosa, Prunus
domestica and Malus.
Pupation in a white loose cocoon in rotten wood or in the soil.
The
adults fly in one generation a year: from late May
till August. They come to light.
