A
very rare and local species throughout Belgium. Mostly known from
older records before 1980, although recently more observations are done.
The
larvae lives between two leaves spun together of various plants like Myrica gale, Salix, Filipendula ulmaria, Potentilla anserina, Rubus fruticosus, Betula, Vaccinium myrtillus etc... Pupation amongst detritus.
The
males fly in April. They fly in sunshine around midday on warm
days and assemble to females. The females have short wings.
