A
common species throughout Belgium.
The
larvae live in web on the upper surface of the leaves of Urtica
or Parietaria. They usually fold the leaf upwards.
Pupation in a thick silken cocoon in or near that web.
The
adults fly in two generation per year: from early May till the
beginning of July, and from mid August till early October. The autumn
generation is less abundant. The moths are active during the day.
