A
rare species in Belgium.
The
larva feeds on a wide range of plants of the family of Lamiaceae like Clinopodium, Glechoma, Lycopus, Origanum, Prunella, Salvia, Mentha, Nepeta, Stachys and probably on Thymus. It constructs only one composite leaf case and overwinters half-fed.
The
adults are univoltine and fly from early June towards early August.
Sometimes flying in sunshine, but it's mainly nocturnal and later
come to light.
