A
rare and local species in Belgium. Populations are scarce, because of the Dutch elm disease.
The
larva lives in a short and stubby case on Ulmus procera and Ulmus minor. Pupation in the third and final case, attached to a twig or leaf.
The
adults fly in June and July. They come to light.
