A
rather local species in Belgium, though not uncommon, locally very
common. Hitherto only recorded from 3 provinces.
The
larva lives in a small silken, greyish, tubular case on a floret
of Juncus subuliflorus, Juncus effusus, Juncus
articulatus or Juncus inflexus. It hibernates.
The
adults fly in May and June.
