An uncommon species in Belgium.
The
larva lives in a straw coloured slender tubular case on
leafs of Asteraceae like Achillea, Pulicaria, Eupatorium etc... Hibernates
as a larva in the case, usually attached to a leaf of the foodplant or
adjacent herbage, near the base of a stem or even on the surface of the
soil.
The
adults fly in one generation a year from mid-June towards august. They come to light.
