An uncommon species in Belgium.
The
larva feeds from a brownish lobe case mainly on Rosaceae and on woody plants including Alnus, Castanea, Potentilla, Rubus, Symphoricarpus, Tilia, Viburnum etc...
It hibernates.
The
adults fly in one generation a year; from late May towards early July.
It is active in the early evening and later comes to light.
