Agriphila selasella (Hübner, 1813)

A local and rather rare species in Belgium.

The larva feeds in a silken gallery on several grasses, including several species of Puccinella like Puccinella maritima, Spartina maritima and Festuca ovina.

The adults fly in July and August. They are easily disturbed by day and come to light.
