A
rather common species throughout Belgium.
The
larvae live gregariously on the leaves of Barbarea vulgaris
or other species of Cruciferae. They hibernate in their cocoons.
Pupation in a cocoon on the underside of leaves or on the ground
surface.
The
adults fly from mid June till mid September. They fly at dusk and come
to light.
