Scoparia ambigualis (Treitschke, 1829)

A common species throughout Belgium.

The larva lives possibly on mosses. It has been recorded on Valeriana officinalis, at the base of the stem.

The adults have been observed from early May till the end of August. They are active at dusk and come to light.
