Agonopterix angelicella (Hübner, 1813)

A rarely observed species in Belgium, though probably overlooked in many places.

The larva lives in a spun shoot or between spun leaves on Angelica sylvestris or Heracleum sphondylium.

The adults fly from July till September. They come to light.
