A
rather common species throughout Belgium.
The
larva lives in a leaf rolled downwards on Centaurea, Carduus,
Arctium or Serratula. It pupates in a cocoon amongst
detritus on the ground.
The
adults fly from August till early June. They hibernate. They come to light and sugar.
