Agonopterix ocellana (Fabricius, 1775)

A rather common species throughout Belgium.

The larva lives in spun or rolled leaves on Salix spp. Pupation in a cocoon in the earth.

The adults fly from Mid July till late May. They hibernate as an adult. They come to light and sugar.
