Agonopterix purpurea (Haworth, 1811)

A not so common species in many areas of Belgium, less observed in the north.

The larva lives in spun or rolled leaflets on Anthriscus, Daucus, Chaerophyllum or Torilis. It pupates in a cocoon in the earth.

The adults fly from August till May. They hibernate.
