Catalogue
of the Lepidoptera of Belgium

Depressaria pulcherrimella Stainton, 1849

Rarely observed in Belgium, only known from an old record in the province of Brabant and recent observations in Namur, where it's not uncommon.

The larva lives in a spun leaf on Pimpinella saxifraga or Daucus, in spun flowers and seeds on Conopodium. It pupates in a cocoon amongst detritus.

The adults fly from August till beginning of May, and hibernate. They come to light and sugar.
