Cilix glaucata (Scopoli, 1763)

A local and rare species throughout Belgium. More frequently observed at the coast and in the south of the country were it is locally common.

The larva lives on Prunus spinosa and Crataegus. Hibernates as pupa.

The adults fly in two or three generations a year; from mid April till mid September. They come to light.
