of the Lepidoptera of Belgium

Elachista subalbidella Schläger, 1847

A local and rare species in Belgium, hitherto only recorded from three provinces.

The larva makes a long, narrow mine in the blade of Molinia caerulea.

The adults fly in May and June. They are active during daytime but also come to light.
