A
very local and rare species in Belgium, except for old records from
Brabant and Luxembourg lately only observed in Namur.
The
larva lives between spun leaves on Carpinus, Betula,
or Salix. Pupation takes places amongst detritus on the ground.
The
adults fly in May and June. They come to light.
