A not so common species in
Belgium, mainly known from the northern part of the country,
but expected to spread with its foodplant. The species is supposed
to have been imported with its foodplant. First encountered in 1986 at Niel (AN).
The
larva lives on Cupressus and also on Thuja.
The
adults fly in July and August. They come to light.
