Gelechia sororculella (Hübner, 1817)

An uncommon species in Belgium, but probably overlooked.

The larva feeds on spun shoots on various species of Salix. It pupates in the ground. 

The adults fly in one generation a year; onwards from late June towards mid August. They come to light.
