A
rather common species throughout Belgium.
The
larva lives in the seed-head of Tanacetum vulgare
or Achillea ptarmica. It hibernates. Pupation in a
dead stem.
The
adults fly from the end of June till early September. Most specimens
have been observed in July. They occasionally come to light.
