A
rare species in Belgium, but probably overlooked.
The
larva feeds from a portable case on the seeds of Origanum vulgare or
occasonally on Mentha
aquatica and Thymus polytrichus.
Pupates inside the larval case attached to a stem or to debris on the
ground.
The
adults fly in one generation a year; during July and August.
