Recorded
from many areas in Belgium.
The
larva lives between spun leaves of Crataegus or Prunus
spinosa, making a brownish blotch on the surface. It has also
been recorded from Juniperus and Cotoneaster horizontalis.
Pupation takes places in the larval spinnings, or in a flimsy cocoon
on the ground.
The
adults fly mainly in June-July, but sometimes till mid August. They come to light.
