A common and local species in Belgium, more frequently observed in the Kempen and in the south
of the country.
The
larva lives mainly Vaccinium myrtillus, but also on Salix and Populus.
The
adults fly from late May till August in one generation a year.
They are active from dusk onwards and later come to light..
