A
very rare and local species in Belgium, only known from records before
1980 from the province of Luxembourg and from recent records in the
provinces West-Vlaanderen and Hainaut.
The
larva lives on Ligustrum and Fraxinus. Hibernates as a pupa
in a cocoon on the food plant.
All
Belgian adults have been seen in March and during July/August. The adults
fly usually from late March towards June. When conditions are
favourable, a partial second generation can occurs during late July and
during August. They come to light.
