A not so common and local species in Belgium, seems to be distributed into two disjunct areas: the North-West and the South-East.

The larva lives on different species of deciduous trees and shrubs. Hibernates as a pupa.

The adults fly in one generation a year; from late April till end of June. They are attracted to light.
