Scopula nigropunctata (Hufnagel, 1767)


A not so common species in Belgium, occurring throughout the country.

The larva lives on different species of herbaceous plants, like Taraxacum and Clematis. Hibernates as half-grown larva.

The adults fly in one generation a year; from late May towards early August. They come to light.
