A
local and not abundant species in Belgium, known from many localities.
The
larvae make very conspicuous, silvery blotch mines in the leaves
of Quercus.
The
adults fly in June and July. They hibernate and can be found again in April-May
of the next year. They rest on tree trunks and come to light.
