A
common species throughout Belgium, sometimes causing damage to hedges
curling the leaves and turning them brownish.
The
larvae feed on Ligustrum, Fraxinus and Syringa.
Pupation in a silken, whitish cocoon on the underside of a leaf.
The
adults fly in two generations a year; onwards from late April
towards mid June and again from late June till August. They come to
light.
