Micrurapteryx kollariella (Zeller, 1839)

An uncommon species in Belgium.

The larva feeds on Cytisus, Genista, Laburnum and Lupinus. It makes a stellate blotch in the leaf centre and contains little or no frass. 

The adults fly in one generation a year; onwards from early May towards mid July with a peak around mid May. They come to light.
