A
rather common but local species in Belgium.
The
larva lives on Lonicera and on
Symphoricarpus albus. It makes a very large, sometimes
occupying a whole leaf, on the upperside of the leaf. The mine
has a
papery appearance.
Pupation inside the mine in a large, strong dull green cocoon. Mined
leaves rot away during the winter and little rests other than the
strong cocoons.
The
adults fly in two generations a year; during May and in August. They
come to light.
