A
common species throughout Belgium.
The
larva lives on Quercus. It makes a small, round mine between
two veins on the underside of the leaf. Pupation inside the mine.
The pupa of the second generation hibernates.
The
adults fly in two generations a year; during April and May and
again in August and September. They come to light.
