A
not so common species in Belgium. Hitherto known from five provinces.
The
larva lives in a mine on the underside of a leaf of Quercus spp.
Usually on margin, leaf-edge folds right over almost
concealing mine. Pupation in the mine.
The
adults
have been observed from early May till the end of September.
