An uncommon species in Belgium.
The
larva lives on Populus. It makes a small, oval
mine between two veins on the underside of the leaf. Pupation inside
the mine. The pupa of the second generation hibernates.
The
adults fly in two generations a year; in April-May and in
August-September.
