A
common species throughout Belgium.
The
larva makes a mine on the underside of a leaf of Quercus
spp. Pupation in the larval feeding place. The pupa hibernates.
The
adults fly in two generations a year: in April-May and again in
August-September. They rest on the tree trunks, are active at dusk and
later come to light.
