not so common species in Belgium.
larva lives mainly on Prunus spinosa, but can also be found on other Prunus species. It
makes a mine (c. 12mm long) on the underside of the leaf with the lower
epidermis strongly contracted by several creases causing the leaf
to arch or fold. The larva hibernates in the mine and pupates in the
adults fly in two generations a year: in May and in August-September.
