A
fairly common species in Belgium.
The
larva lives on Alnus glutinosa and Alnus incana.
The oval mine is on the upperside of the leaf over midrib or sidevein,
with a crease down the centre. Pupation in a white cocoon.
The
adults fly in two generations a year; in May and again in
August.
