Catalogue
of the Lepidoptera of Belgium

Heteropterus morpheus (Pallas, 1771)

The only Belgian locality is situated in the province of Limburg, but the species has not been observed there lately. Probably extinct in Belgium!

The larva lives on several species of Poaceae, especially on Molinia caerulea.

The adults fly from mid June till the end of July.

Netherlands, Limburg, De Groote Peel, 14 July 2004.
