Very
rare and local in Flanders, only 4 localities left. More widespread
and locally common in the south of Belgium.
The
larva lives on several species of Potentilla.
The
adults fly from the end of April till mid June. In favourable years
a partial second generation occurs till the end of August.
There is also a form with more white blotches in the wings, this form called 'taras' and it is quite rare in our country. See More
