Mompha terminella (Humphreys & Westwood, 1845)

A rare and local species in Belgium.

The larva mines the leaves of Circaea lutetiana and  C.  alpina. It pupates in a whitish cocoon spun to a leaf or leaf litter on the ground.

The adults fly from mid June towards August in one generation a year. They come to light.
