A rare
species in Belgium.
The
monophagous larva makes a leafmine starting close to the midrib of a
leaf of Rhamnus cathartica. The initial gallery
progresses in a series of "S" turns and is more or less filled with
greenish frass laid in arches. Pupation in a cocoon spun on detritus.
The
adults fly in two generations: May-June, and July-August.
