Stigmella confusella (Wood & Walsingham, 1894)

An uncommon species in Belgium.

The monophagous larva makes a leafmine in Betula, the frass is laid in a small black central line from beginning of the mine till the end.

The adults fly in one generation a year; from late April towards early June.
