Denisia similella (Hübner, 1796)

A rare species in Belgium.

The larva, which has possibly a two-years cycle, feeds on fungus under dead wood or bark.  It pupates in the feeding place. 

The adults fly in a single generation a year; onwards from late May till early july. They come sparsely to light.
