Pseudopostega auritella (Hübner, 1813)

A rarily observed species in Belgium. Hitherto only known from the northern part of the country and first observed in 1986 at Niel (AN).

The biology of this species is insufficiently known. The larva makes a long (ca. 20 cm), inconspicuous mine in the stem of Lycopus.

The adults have been observed from late May till mid July.
