Catalogue
of the Lepidoptera of Belgium

Narycia duplicella (Goeze, 1783)

Rather well distributed in Belgium, but seldom recorded due to it small size.

The larva lives on lichens growing on tree-trunks, fences, rocks and old walls.

The adults fly usually from late May towards July, when conditions are favourable, they can be seen onwards from early May.
