Marasmarcha lunaedactyla (Haworth, 1811)

A very rare and local species in Belgium, only known from 4 provinces and mostly from older observations.

The larva feeds on the flowers and shoots of Ononis. Pupation along a shoot or on a leaf of the food plant.

The adults fly from June to August. The adults are active at dusk and night and come sparsely to light.
